HyPA dialogue process:
Enabling exchange
Goals
The HyPA dialogue process involves relevant stakeholders in the implementation of the hydrogen strategy and supports the effective and efficient implementation of the objectives of the national hydrogen strategy. To this end, activities take place at several levels:
- Findings from current studies and updates on new developments are widely disseminated and publicly discussed, for example via webinars, podcasts or public events. Surveys also complement the activities of the dialogue process at this level.
- More specific aspects that do not affect all stakeholders but are relevant to a smaller group are addressed in roundtables - such as on hydrogen in heavy goods transport - or dedicated discussion rounds (e.g. on PFAS).
- The advisory board has a special role in the dialogue process: a committee made up of high-ranking representatives from various sectors along the entire value chain. As set out in the hydrogen strategy, the advisory board draws up recommendations for the BMK and BMAW based on input from the dialogue process and its own expertise. The recommendations are aimed at implementing and further developing the hydrogen strategy.
The Advisory Board's priorities in 2025:
-electrolysers and connection to infrastructure
-consumers of hydrogen and derivatives
-"Gas Hydrogen Economy Act" (GWWG) incl. start-up networks etc.
-financing of large projects II: Equity capital and institutional investors
- Innovations "Made in A" in the value chain
