Structure of HyPA

Organisation

The Hydrogen Partnership Austria (HyPA) pools Austria's strengths for the implementation of the hydrogen strategy. It combines the two relevant ministries for the implementation of the "Hydrogen Strategy for Austria" with a high-calibre advisory board. The initiative is coordinated and implemented by the HyPA management. The partnership activates and services a wide range of stakeholders in and outside Austria and maintains interfaces with other key organisations that are relevant for the ramp-up of the hydrogen economy in Austria.

The "Hydrogen Strategy for Austria" is supported by the Federal Ministry for Climate Protection and the Federal Ministry of Labour and Economic Affairs. The main measures required to implement the hydrogen strategy are the responsibility of these ministries. The ministers of both ministries liaise with the advisory board.

The advisory board established as part of the Hydrogen Partnership Austria (HyPA) will support the task force of the ministries and accompany the implementation process of the hydrogen strategy. Based on the findings of the HyPA dialogue process, the members of the advisory board, supplemented by their own expertise, will draw up recommendations for the task force.
